We have many scripts that we can customise to your needs and we write in most shell scripting languages and in perl.

Some Examples Of Our Work:

Esdebe Consultancy has written a series of scripts to help to automate and simplify the backups in an environment of over 250 UNIX servers and 700 NT and 95 workstations. The scripts allowed technical staff with no knowledge of the backup system to add and remove workstations as they were deployed to the desktop. Other scripts reported daily on the Success of the backups from the day before, making it easier to ensure that all machines we being backed up successfully.

We have also written scripts to automate the migration of large amounts of data from one UNIX file system to another and to keep these up to date for a series of weeks until the final cut over.

We have also written a client server application for relaying the hostname and ipaddress of a PC workstation to a UNIX server to allow it to keep a NIS domain updated of DHCP changes that had not been propagated to DNS.
